Richard and Cheryl Andrews would love to welcome you to the great Glemham crown. We have been running this 18th century country pub as a family since 2015. During that time we have experienced many highs and lows but largely thanks to our loyal returning customers, hard work and determination, we are still here over 10 years later.

 We offer a warm welcome, quality home cooked food, roaring open fires in all areas which are constantly lit through the colder months. An impressive beer garden for warmer days,  which includes a large hard standing terrace and boules piste for anyone that would like to try their hand at petanque.  

The Crown interior was also used in the filming of the hit BBC comedy series The Detectorists doubling up as The Two Brewers pub in the programme.

We cater for every taste and dietary requirement with ever changing  lunch and evening a la carte menus using seasonal local produce.  A sandwich menu,  burger menu and a menu that caters for anyone gluten free, Vegetarian or vegan. Fantastic handmade pizza and shortcrust pies which are both available gluten free, Vegetarian or vegan. There is also of course a good selection of homemade desserts which again are available gluten free and vegan.

We cater for large groups, are more than happy to open on our closed days for parties of 10 or more and also provide outside bar and catering.

There is  free overnight parking available for camper vans with electric hook up and toilet (as long as they use the pub obviously)

It’s not all about the food though (as it is so often in pubs these days) we have always felt very strongly that a pub should be the heart of the village, somewhere you can feel just as welcome if you simply wanted to pop in for a drink and a chat as you would coming in for a meal. We run the pub between us, Richard being the head chef , our eldest daughter Layla currently training in the kitchen,  myself (Cheryl) being front of house and our youngest daughter Evie waitressing during busy periods. We believe that a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere is what a pub always was and should continue to be about.
